The
Origins
HistoryCube
is an exhibit extension of the Origins: Timechart of World Civilizations.
At
the first African American Heritage Festival (held at Camden Yards in June
2002) the exhibit was located in the history and education section.
The
exhibit has an eight foot square base.
Each side is eight feet long by six feet high. The themes per panel are: Pre-History,
Ancient History, Medieval History, and Colonial-to-Contemporary History.
For
two days, the response to the exhibit was very good as several hundred people
stopped to take time studying the images and reading the info on each panel.
Many sought more information, insights and discussions on the historical connections.
